About Dr. Merriman
Born
and raised in Contra Costa County,
Dr. Bill Merriman earned a Bachelor
of Science degree from San Diego
State University and a Doctor of
Chiropractic degree from Life
Chiropractic College West.
Dr. Merriman experienced the
benefits of chiropractic care
first-hand after injuring himself in
a basketball game, herniating a disc
in his low back. The injury was so
severe it made even normal
activities extremely painful.
Efforts to block out the chronic
pain were impossible, and the
thought of invasive and expensive
back surgery was not appealing.
Chiropractic care proved to be the
answer!
Profoundly impressed with the
benefits and pain-relief he received
through chiropractic methods, he
decided to change careers, become a
Doctor of Chiropractic, and dedicate
his life to helping others the same
way he had been helped.
Throughout his studies and
experience, Dr. Merriman learned
that the benefits of chiropractic
were not limited to the reduction of
pain but were also instrumental in
providing a complete health care
system.
